I've had these all of my life, for years I thought I was half crazy. In the last ten years I've learned to control and explore these hallucinations. The best thing I've found to do is just relax, hold on to the edge of sleep, and listen for vibrations, and rushing wind sounds. This is where OBEs are born. I didn't believe it at first, but now I'm convinced. But I won't argue with anyone who says it's not real, because they have never experienced it for themselves. There is nothing to be afraid of. Easier said than done, I know! Now, I welcome the voices, the visions. Why not, they can't hurt you.

There's some good information here in this article. Many people don't know the extent of the symptoms of narcolepsy, and that the common images associated with it are not always the case. Check out my response here:

Comment on What is the Fastest Elevator in the World? by Brad

Hi there,
I think you should have a read back through your figures on the worlds fastest elevator.
1,010 metres per second is 3,636 kph. While that is an eye watering speed, I cannot except that an elevator can travel that fast.
Also, if Hitachi is to challenge Toshiba in the speed stakes, they'll have to do better than 2,000 feet per minute = 22.727 mph or 36.576 kph. While not a bad speed for an elevator, especially while carrying 5 ton, it's a long way from 3,636 kph.

The worlds tallest building (today) is the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai. It rises 828 metres and it's elevators travel at 36.576 kph. The cargo elevator can carry 5,500 kilograms = 5.5 tonnes or 6.062 tons.

After 23 years in juvenile court, I believe that teenagers often learn from the experiences of their peers, not just from being lectured by those in authority. Consequently, “Teen Cyberbullying Investigated” was published in 2010.

Endorsed by Dr. Phil ["Bullied to Death"], “Teen Cyberbullying Investigated” presents real cases of teens in trouble over their online and cell phone activities. Civil & criminal sanctions have been imposed on teens over their emails, blogs, text messages, Facebook and YouTube posts and more. TCI is interactive and promotes education & awareness so that our youth will begin to “Think B4 U Click.”

Thanks for looking at “Teen Cyberbullying Investigated” on http://www.freespirit.com [publisher] or on http://www.askthejudge.info [a free website for & about teens and the laws that affect them.]
Regards, -Judge Tom
