There are only a few manufacturers of candles out there that have the same elegance and history and not to forget the craftsmanship of Faroy Candles. Candles made by Faroy are not the same candles you will find at your local retailer, chances are you need to buy them at a shop specialized in candles.
The first Faroy candles were made in 1950 although the official name in that time was not yet Faroy. Addison McElfroy and Preston Frazier were two ordinary guys who wanted to buy Christmas presents but they did not had any money to buy them so they decided to make some candles instead. They had in no way the intention to make candles for a living as it was only intended as gifts. But their families really likes the candles and they asked for more. By coincidence a man who bought goods for a fashion store saw their candles and suggested that they show their home made candles in a trade show. That was the first time when they knew this could be something serious and they gave a name to their candles: Faroy, a combination of both their surnames.
We don’t have to tell you that their popularity only has increased since the day they decided to start their own business. Although it is still the same brand, the candles are produced in a different way compared to than. Back than every candle was poured and carved by hand, but if the same process would be done today these candles would be priceless. A faroy candle is popular because it is not to expensive and because there are more color and scent combination’s than other companies offer.
The original candles did not have so many color combination’s. In fact, the first candles were only designed in Christmas colors. But as demands increased they had to produce more variations of colors and scents.
If you want to buy Faroy candles than your best option is to go to a store specialized in candles because a local shop will probably not have them. If you are interested in buying large quantities (wholesale) than your best bet is buying them at online retailers. You could also try to buy them at ebay instead.
