When you are thinking about your ideal holiday vacation than a Hawaiin Cruise is probably high on your list. However, there is always the choice if you want to go for a cruise through the many Islands of Hawaii, or taking a tour by land. Although both type of vacations will probably provide you with an excellent experience of your holiday, you should consider that both are quite different in experience.

A Hawaiin cruise will give you the opportunity in seeing a lot of the Island of Hawaii. However, the disadvantage is that you are always bound by a time schedule provided by the cruise company. You can not decide where to spend more time and which places to skip as you are always bounded by itinerary of the cruise ship.

If you will decide to go for a land based Hawaii vacation than the biggest advantage is that you can decide for yourself what to do and when to do it. If you come by a very beautiful spot (and there are lots of beautiful spots on Hawaii) than you can decide for yourself to enjoy that spot a little longer. The downside is that you are probably not able to see a lot of the Hawaiian island and you will only see one or two islands.

The decision between a Hawaiin cruise and a land based holiday is probably based on two things. If you are planning to see the Islands more than one time in your life than giving some extra attention to one Island might be your best option. But if you are on a budget cruise than you should take your opportunities and see as much as possible.

In order not to miss too much you might decide your first trip to be a cruise and see all that is around. In your following trips you might decide for a land based Hawaii trip and see more of the things you mist in your initial vacation.

An Hawaiian cruise will often visit a few ports in a period of about 10 days. Some of the stops will take your breath away while other stops might be a little bit too touristic. Off course this all depends on personal taste in what you like on your vacation trip.

If you are more of an explorer type than a cruise through Hawaii might not be your best option because there is not much to explore if you are bound by a time schedule. So it will all depends on what you like most in your trip. Do you want to explore everything yourself than a Hawaiin cruise might not be you best option. But if you like that everything is already arranged and all you have to do is enjoy than a cruise through Hawaii should be high on your to do list.
